Speaking to reporters, Ten Hag said: "It’s hopeful that they can be back for the weekend, I’m talking about Christian Eriksen, potentially Luke Shaw. Harry [Maguire] maybe, Mason [Mount] I think he needs some days or a week more."
However, Lisandro Martinez, Victor Lindelof, Tyrell Malacia, and Casemiro remain sidelined, much to Ten Hag's frustration.
"It is [frustrating]," he admitted. "But I don’t want to be frustrated, because I can do nothing for it, it will not help to support the team. We have to get the best performance and results with the players that are available and that’s what we’re trying to do."
