Leeds United fans are keen for Eunan O’Kane to become the club’s new captain for the upcoming season.
The midfielder received high praise from the supporters on Twitter after the club posted a video interview with him.
A lot of fans were impressed with how he came across in the interview, and others have put their backing behind him to become skipper.
The current captain is Liam Bridcutt, but due to the arrival of new head coach Thomas Christiansen, there have been suggestions that he may select someone else to lead the team.
O’Kane has only been part of the Leeds fold for a year following his 2016 switch from Bournemouth.
The midfielder started 20 Championship matches and came off the bench in a further four.
The Whites will begin the new season with a trip to face Bolton Wanderers on Sunday, and plenty of supporters believe that O’Kane is worthy of the armband.
